Tickets for Celtic's Scottish Premiership opener have gone on sale and the club has confirmed that home tickets have been sold out in just over an hour.
The game against Hearts will be played at Celtic Park on Sunday, September 21st and is expected to attract a large crowd due to the club's recent success in Europe.
The tickets for the match were available from the official Celtic website and online ticketing platform Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from £15 to £49 depending on the section of the stadium you want to sit in.
However, it seems that many fans were unable to secure tickets as they went on sale almost immediately after the announcement was made.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon said: "We're really looking forward to playing Hearts at Celtic Park on Sunday. It's going to be a great atmosphere and we're hoping to get a good result."
He added: "I'm sure there will be plenty of supporters who have been waiting for this moment and I hope they can come along and support us on the day."
